Meditation Tip for Stress Relief
Feeling stressed? Stop. Whatever you’re doing right now — stop. And stand up. Stand with your feet hip distance apart and let your arms rest naturally at your sides.
Close your eyes, and feel your feet. Notice the soles of the feet and root down through the base of the big toes, the base of the little toes, and the heels of the feet. Without moving the feet, draw the ankles up and away from each other so the arches in the feet are active. Your core muscles work naturally to support your spine — and tuck your chin very slightly in towards your chest. Just enough so the back of the neck is long.
Take five deep, full breaths through the nose. You are standing on the ground and breathing. And then you can carry on with your day.
